Self Catering Holiday Cottage Accomodation in Perigord Vert, Dordogne
Welcome to L'Abbaye Studio, our self catering holiday cottage located in the Perigord Limousin Natural Park within the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne , France . The Perigord Vert region is so called after its rolling green hills and pine trees in the North East of the Dordogne. The Dordogne is reknowned for its cuisine, vineyards, natural beauty, places of historic interest, tranquility and varied leisure activities such as walking & cycling.
The cottage sleeps 4 with 2 ensuite bathrooms and is in the sleepy hamlet of La Vieille Abbaye which is surrounded by forests with an abundance of wildlife & traditional French villages and with quiet roads, forest tracks and many picturesque views, It makes an ideal base for artists, birdwatchers, cyclists and walkers. Guided cycling runs are available if required. The many local villages have lakes for fishing and swimming, usually with picnic areas which can be used free by the public.
From England it is accessible easily via several major airports including Limoges (1 hour's drive away) which flies Ryanair (budget airline which also does reasonable car hire).
The English owners live next door and are available to offer advice & assistance.
